Increasing support
Foundation Talentueux is supported by a number of fixed donors. Through project-planning to realize projects, Talentueux applies for subsidies by development-organisations. Local there are activities to raise money, and companies are approached for support. We already received support from Cordaid, Oxfam Novib, NCDO, Haëlla fund, Hivos, Church in action, Ministry of Health Welfare and Sport, and Ministry VROM. To inform and involve the community of the problems in Congo and the activities of KAST, the Foundation is participating in all kinds of festivities like Spring in het Park (Veenendaal) festival, Grensloos festival (Veenedaal), on Queensday selling several things on local markets in the region. On the markets we are present with an information-stand and workshops. If necessary or possible, we contact the media to inform as much as possible people about Congo and Angola.
       

 
Summer camps.
For families whom do not have the money for expensive holidays, Foundation Talentueux organises every year summer camps where they can spent their holiday. These camps are also an opportunity for KAST to organize several activities for Congolese families living in The Netherlands.  During these summer camps different items will be discussed.

•    Education in two different cultures
•    Girls and puberty
•    How to handle a budget, for young people
•    The part of women in the family, etc

Veenendaal on the move.
Veenendaal on the move is an initiative of a few people in the neighbourhood of Veenendaal. The meaning is to meet other people in the neighbourhood. For already three years we are active in several communities and discus special items like how do we experience our neighbourhood we live in, sometimes for many years already. How can we social improve the neighbourhood. Just a few questions we think and discus about in a nice relaxing way.
We also make a movie of every neighbourhood with interviews, local activities, but also problems will be showed. You will be challenged to play a real Dutch Ganzebord, with a big size air-picture of the neighbourhood. We will meet during a delicious culinary meal. For free!  This day we offer you.
